2nd – 30th May 2026 |
| Bradford's Trapezium Gallery is pleased to present Mayday!, its final exhibition at its base on Kirkgate in Bradford city centre. It will showcase the artwork of some of the people who run the gallery on a day-to-day basis. There will be a mix of painting, illustration, print-making, textiles, collage and documentary photography on a range of themes. We hope you will come to see the exhibition and say goodbye but also help us celebrate what we have achieved over the last 8 years. |

| Seeds is an online gallery with images planted there for Bradford's Artists, Photographers and other Creatives to use and reinterpret in their own way, creating something new that draws on the existing work. Trapezium Gallery on Kirkgate has shut its doors |
| After nearly eight years, Trapezium Gallery on Kirkgate has shut its doors due to the redevelopment of Kirkgate Shopping Centre. Since opening, we have hosted over seventy exhibitions by local artists and community groups. Our aim has always been to show Bradford the artistic talent of its residents, where people passing by could wander in and experience art in a welcoming and accessible space. Our audience has continued to grow, with visitors returning every month to see the eclectic mix of artwork that we have shown. It is really sad to be leaving Kirkgate after so long. We have had three venues in the shopping centre during our tenure. It has been a wonderful place to work, with great facilities and the management and staff have all been fantastic. We would like to thank them for their support. We are, though, actively looking for a new home in Bradford's city centre and hope to return in the not too distant future. |
